In SAS^® High-Performance Markdown Optimization, the Force markdown minimum discount setting that is defined in the default pricing rules fails to save in certain circumstances. When the price rule Allow value to be modified when creating plans setting is disabled, the Force markdown minimum discount check box becomes disabled and cannot be reselected.

As a workaround, select the Allow value to be modified when creating plans check box when creating or modifying plans. The Force markdown minimum discount setting is then saved.
